Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of our buildings and equipment. This role ensures a clean, safe, and functional environment for employees and visitors by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical.
• Perform general repairs such as patching walls, painting, fixing doors/windows, and replacing fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC).
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance or inspections (e.g., elevators, fire systems).
• Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance areas and ensure tools are stored properly.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with safety standards and building codes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team and prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Working Conditions:

• May involve lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and exposure to hot/cold environments.
• Occasional after-hours emergency maintenance may be required.
