Role:
The Make Ready Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential units are prepared for new tenants in a timely and efficient manner. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that all aspects of the property meet high standards of quality and safety. The Make Ready Tech will collaborate closely with property management and other team members to prioritize work orders and address any issues that may arise. Attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential, as the ultimate goal is to create a welcoming environment for new residents. By maintaining the property to the highest standards, the Make Ready Tech contributes significantly to tenant retention and overall property value.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in residential properties. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work. Experience with property management software. Previous experience in a make-ready or similar role.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work as needed. Ensure that all units are cleaned and prepared for new tenants, including painting, flooring, and appliance installation. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services when required. Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with property management regarding progress and any issues.
