3+ years in machine shop environment, CNC (4 axis, vertical and horizontal mills, lathe machines), troubleshooting and preventive maintenance Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our fast paced machine shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The technician will play a crucial role in supporting our production operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC machines including vertical mills and 4 axis equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on CNC machines. Conduct quality inspections during and after machining processes to ensure product compliance. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all repairs and services performed. Assist in the setup and calibration of CNC equipment when necessary. Support training of junior staff on CNC maintenance practices and safety procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in CNC maintenance and quality, specifically with vertical and horizontal mills. Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques, including lathe machines and offsets. Familiarity with quality inspection processes and measurement equipment, CMM reports and GD&T. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with tolerances. Experience in machine shop fabrication and troubleshooting is preferred. Familiar with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes is a plus, background with tight tolerances and equipment adjustments High school diploma, Associates degree preferred Previous experience with Okuma and/or Makino preferred- Benefits BCBS health, dental and vision insurance Paid holidays, PTO paid day off for birthday! 401k with match relocation assistance eligible for raise every 3 months in first year employed!
