Fence Installer Chattahoochee Fence Company 1235 11th Ave, Phenix City, AL 36867 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves the installation of various types of fencing, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We work 4 day work weeks, Monday through Thursday, so showing up and being part of the team is critical. Paid Holidays and insurance benefits after 90 days and 40 hours of PTO after 1 year of employment. Uniforms and boots provided yearly. Responsibilities Install various types of fencing, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental iron. Prepare job sites by clearing debris and ensuring proper measurements. Assemble and build fence panels according to specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Perform concrete finishing tasks for fence posts and other installations. Conduct landscape maintenance around installed fences to enhance aesthetics. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Lift heavy materials as needed throughout the installation process. Experience Proven experience in fence installation or related construction fields is preferred. Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
