Hydraulics Full Job Description Position Summary:
Responsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs, including but not limited to, the material handling/conveyor and part removal systems, mill drives and press bases. Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Follow specified maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools. Troubleshoot, isolate and repair manufacturing machinery & equipment, e.g., mills, presses, conveyors, etc.
Use the following equipment safely:
Hand tools Hand and Surface grinders Wheel Puller Torches Pipe Threader Hydraulic Jacks Welders Scissor Lift Lathe Forklift Milling Machine Drill Presses Work in a safe manner provide constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility. Perform preventive maintenance and provide input on updates to preventive maintenance schedules. Complete and manage work orders via the Plex system. Engage with outside resources as needed to keep production running. Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality. Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and tools. Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested. Advanced troubleshooting of both equipment and systems. Advanced understanding of press inspections and ability to interpret drawings. Additional functions, not specifically outlined in this position description, as directed by the supervisor.

Advanced in Pneumatics and Hydraulics Advanced understanding of relevant Robotic controls. Proficient with Microsoft Applications (e.g. word, excel, outlook, etc). Ability to drive KTMR support.
