The idea candidate must possess a good working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance repairs in a warehouse facility atmosphere. Knowledge of forklifts and pallet jack repair is preferred. Refrigeration experience also a plus. Must have good interpersonal skills and be detail oriented with an ability to multi-task. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written instruction as well as verbal direction is required. Job entails physically demanding duties with the ability to lift and stand for long periods. Summary As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to troubleshoot and repair various systems, including plumbing and refrigeration. Your core skills in maintenance and schematics will be essential in performing routine inspections and repairs. Additionally, your premium skills in programmable logic controllers and welding will enhance our operational efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration units. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while conducting repairs and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to prioritize work and enhance operational efficiency. Assist in supervising maintenance staff and provide guidance as needed.
