Summary:
Responsibilities include building maintenance, custodial services, grounds maintenance, security and safety functions for the church on all campuses. Responds to all work requests in a timely and courteous manner. Is tasked by and reports to the Facility Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Carpentry Repairing doors, windows, floors and other carpentry-related issues. Grounds Maintenance Routinely inspect outdoor lighting and informational signs for function and damage; make any repairs as necessary. Remove snow and ice from walks and spread ice melt as needed. Painting Preparing surfaces and painting walls, ceilings, and other areas. Equipment Maintenance Maintaining and repairing office equipment, furniture, and other facility assets. Electrical Troubleshooting electrical issues, replacing light fixtures, and ensuring safety standards are met. Plumbing Repairing leaks, unclogging drains, maintaining water fixtures, and ensuring proper water supply. HVAC Maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, including filter changes, condensate drain maintenance.

Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related education and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively before employees of the organization.
