POSITION PROFILE

Preventive maintenance of guest rooms and equipment as well as any duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

Must be able to push/pull lift and/or carry up to 50lbs with or without the assistance of moving equipment. Ability to stand for 8 hours, work from a ladder as needed, bend, stretch and kneel to work on various equipment. Complete preventive guest room maintenance to meet the brands standards for quality and guest satisfaction. Work in a team setting as well as independently complete tasks assigned by management and staff Have knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in a typical hospitality setting. (Screw drivers, wrenches, drills, electrical meters, exc.) Ability to paint and touch-up various items to include furniture, doors, walls and ceilings. Maintain a professional appearance and clean workspace during your shift.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

High school education or equivalent experience.

Experience:

1 year experience in a related field.

Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of building maintenance to include preventive guest room maintenance, painting, light plumbing and electrical and minor sheet rock repairs. The ability to work as a team to reach goals set by the company and department manager while providing the highest level of guest satisfaction and service.
