Kaliber Management Handyman Job Description:
Position Description We are looking for a skilled and reliable handyman to join our team. This individual will be responsible for upkeep and repair duties at various mobile home and RV parks accross Baldwin County. Duties and Responsibilities
- Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
- Manage projects to completion.
- Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience working with minor electrical and plumbing.
- Experience with sheetrock, framing, and roof repairs.
- Abiliy to use maintenance equipment and tools properly and safely. Attributes
- Passion for construction and property maintenance.
- Driven to succeed with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Motivated with a passion for leadership and management.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks according to adapting situations. Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a gerneral maintenance position.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing (grider pump), drywall and carpentry is preferred.
- Possession of proper hand tools.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and project stakeholders.
- Self-Driven / Self-Motivated individual that does not have to wait for instruction.
FLEXIBLE
- Physical Demands/Working Conditions -The position requires working in a physically demanding job site environment, frequently in an outdoor setting. Bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, and lifting are required as well as the ability to lift 40+ lbs.
- Driving required – must have a valid driver’s license for three or more years; proof of automobile liability insurance is required when driving a personal vehicle.
