Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various maintenance tasks and possess strong technical skills. Duties and Responsibilities Receive, review, and respond to maintenance requests submitted by staff or residents in a timely and professional manner Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and/or general home repairs Perform routine inspections of facility systems, equipment, and property to identify and prevent potential maintenance issues Complete assigned maintenance tasks within the specified timeframe, ensuring minimal disruption to the residents and daily operations Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs, parts used, and time of completion Collaborate with administration to prioritize urgent or safety-related repairs Be available for occasional after-hours emergency maintenance calls (if applicable) Skills and Specifications Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. Education and Qualifications High school diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
