Skilled Maintenance Technicians – Residential & Commercial Work Be a Part of the Trusted Team at John Rand Handyman Services! Are you a knowledgeable maintenance professional seeking a company that respects your experience? John Rand Handyman Services is expanding and looking for talented technicians to join our top-rated crew! We’re a locally owned, licensed, and insured operation serving homes and businesses across Mobile and Baldwin County.
Position Overview:
You’ll take on a range of hands-on repair and maintenance jobs, with no two days exactly the same. We’re looking for someone confident in tackling tasks such as: Drywall patching, painting (interior/exterior), and finish carpentry (fences, trim, doors, etc.) Floor installation and repair (tile, hardwood, VCT, vinyl, etc.) Basic electrical work (outlets, fans, fixtures, switches) Minor plumbing tasks and appliance troubleshooting Masonry/tile projects and light concrete work Weatherproofing, general upkeep, and maintenance duties across a variety of properties Client communication and job documentation with a professional attitude What You Bring to the

Minimum Requirements:
At least 25 years old (insurance purposes) Valid driver’s license Proven experience in maintenance, handyman services, or general repairs Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset Ability to work solo or collaboratively Reliable vehicle and local to the area
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted Regular movement required: bending, kneeling, reaching, etc. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (occasional emergency work may arise) Service area: Mobile and Baldwin County, Alabama This is an in-person position; remote work is not available
