The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required. Supervise maintenance staff during projects, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schematics and service reports. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards within facilities. Skills Strong electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems. Proficiency in mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. Experience with logic controllers for automated systems is a plus. Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or custom projects. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices to ensure optimal operation of all building systems. Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for various mechanical systems. Supervisory skills to effectively manage team members during maintenance tasks.
