POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of apartment units and common areas. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management. Ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workspaces and storage areas. Effectively communicate with the Property Management team with work order updates, changes, or any property-related issues. Follow safety protocols and comply with all building codes and regulations. Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process trainings Attend and participate in daily/weekly meetings with the team.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be jack of all trades (light plumbing, light electrical, carpentry etc). You will be interacting with the residents living in the homes, so you must have excellent communication skills. Good with technology – usage of IPhone Applications, G-Suite and related communication tools such as Slack Valid Driver’s License (Required). Must be able to lift 50 pounds (Required). High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
