Job Duties This is an entry level position formaintenance personnel desiring a career path as a MechanicTechnician. Under direct supervision, gains knowledge of routinepreventive maintenance and basic repairs of a variety ofHalliburton equipment. Thereafter, assists maintenance techniciansin performing more complex repairs prior to be broken out as astand-alone Technician I. Responsible for ensuring duties areperformed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks,correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment,efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of errors areeasily measured and can be confined. Qualifications A high schooldiploma or equivalent is required. A technical school certificateand relative technical experience are preferred. Candidates havingqualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements willreceive consideration for higher level roles given (1) theirexperience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) businessneeds. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, avariety of job opportunities might be available, including MechanicTechnician I or Mechanic Technician II.
