Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Southland Transportation Group. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of commercial trucks and trailers, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities. Assist in training junior technicians as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in the automotive or transportation industry. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
