Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for intermediate-level mechanical tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment. Employees at this level should work independently, requiring minimal supervision.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Independently diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic methods. Repair, replace, or overhaul critical mechanical systems and equipment. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Lead minor mechanical installation projects, including equipment alignment. Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced mechanics. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and maintenance protocols. Accurately document maintenance/repairs and keep thorough records.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Advanced mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities. Proficient with specialized tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
