Preventive Maintenance Technician Coast Personnel Services Decatur, AL 35699 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various machinery and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of technical schematics and the ability to work with both high and low voltage systems. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across all equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, including hydraulic systems and industrial mechanics. Troubleshoot electrical issues, utilizing knowledge of logic controllers and both high voltage and low voltage systems. Read and interpret technical schematics to diagnose problems effectively. Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure optimal machine performance. Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within an industrial setting. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, industrial mechanics, and electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage). Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machinery.
