In-person Description:
Serenity South Senior Living is hiring a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support three assisted living communities within a 35-mile radius. This role is responsible for general maintenance, safety inspections, and vendor coordination, rotating between properties on a regular schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, and basic HVAC
- Performing preventative maintenance and safety checks
- Preparing rooms for move-in/move-out
- Maintaining clean and safe facilities
- Coordinating with on-site Directors and reporting to the central office
- Managing tools, supplies, and basic recordkeeping
- Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs This position requires:
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience (senior living or multifamily preferred)
- Reliable transportation and tools (mileage not reimbursed)
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Professional communication and sensitivity when working with senior residents This is a field-based role with opportunity for growth into a leadership position.
