Industrial Maintenance Technician / Industrial Electrician Job Description This position is responsible for enhancing the operational performance of manufacturing machines to meet production goals. Key duties involve implementing preventative maintenance programs, conducting machine upgrades, troubleshooting to minimize downtime and quality issues, and enhancing overall machine efficiency. The role requires improving machinery capabilities to handle challenging production orders more efficiently. Responsibilities Enhance the ability of machinery to efficiently run difficult products. Improve the Plant’s weekly preventative maintenance program for increased effectiveness and efficiency. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing machinery and implement corrective actions promptly. Assist engineering teams in major projects and machine overhauls. Enhance machinery capability by reducing setup time and operational difficulty. Respond to after-hour emergency calls for machine breakdowns. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic analysis. PLC troubleshooting and welding skills. Expertise in electrical troubleshooting, 3-phase systems, mechanical operations, and blueprint reading. Wiring and preventive maintenance proficiency. Electro-mechanical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong analytical skills and electrical/mechanical comprehension. Leadership and organizational skills. Two years technical degree or five or more years of experience in an electrical/mechanical role. Experience in machine modifications and rebuilds.
