Maintenance Technician Top Gun Staffing Inc Meadowbrook, AL 35242 We are working with several tier 1 manufacturers on direct hire, full time, technician roles in the Birmingham area. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and assist in troubleshooting assembly fixtures . You will also perform preventative and predictive maintenance on various types of equipment to minimize downtime while prioritizing safety.
Main Responsibilities:
Your role will include supporting the installation and modification of equipment to ensure that all quality requirements are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuously improving assembly lines and included tooling. You will assist in taking corrective action to improve quality issues and ensure that standards are maintained. In the event of production downtime, you will respond promptly and efficiently to resolve any and all issues. Assist with maintaining assembly line tooling to produce quality parts increasing productivity and efficiency Monitor and maintain good housekeeping Tig & Mig welding as needed Maintain communication with other team members and support departments Work to blueprints, CAD data, sketches, and verbal instructions Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing processes Support and train assembly team members Maintain accurate documentation resulting in the shared knowledge of issues and lessons learned Salary $28 to $34/hr
