training and certification + Overtime opportunities + Ability to be cross-trained into different roles As the Maintenance Technician your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility. This will include conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment. You’ll, develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility. This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of industrial electric, pump repair, forklift repairs, and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you! To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years maintenance work experience. By law, you must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred qualifications are an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field, knowledge of hazardous material handling and OSHA training. Knowledge of pumps and generators is a plus! As you will interact with internal staff, ability to communicate in English is important. The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
