Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing both preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery. Your work will focus primarily on mechanical and electrical tasks, with opportunities to expand your expertise in PLC and VFD systems. Responsibilities Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery. Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems. Work with conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wiring and electrical components. Read and interpret industrial schematics and voltages. Install and repair industrial equipment such as conveyors, presses, gearboxes, and pumps. Essential Skills 1-3+ years of experience troubleshooting controls, 3-phase motors, and limit switches. Ability to read industrial schematics and voltages. Experience with electrical maintenance and industrial maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining 3-phase systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PLC or VFD systems is a bonus. 1-3+ years of experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. 1-3+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting 480V 3-phase motors. 1-3+ years working with limit switches, drives, control panels, and electrical wiring. 1-3+ years of experience in preventive maintenance on industrial equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $24.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
