Job Description
Project Tech 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 616 Chaffee Street, Talladega, AL 35160 General Purpose To keep the building in a clean and well maintained condition. To perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning the floors, stripping and waxing the floors, and shampooing the carpets. Qualificaitons
- Must be experience in the maintenance of all floor finishes
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the stripping and refinishing of floor tiles
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read and follow the mixing instructions of chemicals
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the facility Tasks
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them
- Strip, seal, finish and polish floors
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Follow the procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to the floors
- Mix water and detergents or chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions to specifications
- Steam clean or shampoo carpets
- Notify the supervisor concerning the need for supplies and or equipment You may at any time be pulled from your area and assigned to other duties not specified above as didrected by your supervisor.
