Position Overview:

As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and appearance of floors in various facilities. Your role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities:

Perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and buffing. Operate and maintain floor care equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums. Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools. Monitor and report any floor damage or maintenance needs. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas. Respond to emergency cleaning requests promptly. Assist with general custodial duties as needed.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in floor care or a related custodial role preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and safety practices. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
