Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, reliable and motivated Maintenance Person to join our team, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general upkeep and repair practices and demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. This role is crucial in providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for children and staff alike. Hours will vary depending on needs and the candidates experience ability to take on additional tasks. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, addressing concerns efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and play areas. Inventory and replenishment of supplies and nutrition menu items. Maintenance, upkeep and fueling of fleet vehicles. Repairs to facility as needed. Transport children from schools to Club iNFiNiTi (preferred – not required) Support the overall mission of providing a nurturing environment for children through effective maintenance practices. Qualifications A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential. Experience working with children in settings such as early childhood education and/or youth sports is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or repair role required A proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs before they become issues and a strong attention to details.
