Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the daily assignments of one or more of the following assigned teams, Powerhouse Operators, Electricians, Plumbers, HAVC Technicians General Maintenance, Carpentry Paint Teams. Provides leadership and directions for all Facilities Management employees, including oversight of staff, ensuring completion of assigned preventive maintenance tasks and coordinating specific craft activities with other Facilities Management Team Leaders.

Other information:

Education – High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience – experience in carpentry, general maintenance or painting-6 years. (preferred) Healthcare Maintenance experience- 5 years. (preferred) Trouble-Shooting and Repairing – Determine root causes of operating errors and repair facilities equipment or systems using necessary tools. Computers – Knowledge of software including relevant applications such as Google, Excel and Microsoft office. Skilled in fabricating and running projects Carpentry Lead must have ability to repair woodwork, chairs, desks, cabinets, furniture, bookshelves, door hardware, locks, code locks and reading blue prints. General Maintenance Lead must have ability to troubleshoot and repair multiple building/facilities items including, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatic tube system, hospital beds and nurse call systems. Knowledge of control systems including PLCs, power distribution, pneumatics, drives. Knowledge of various products to finish/repair woodwork, chairs desk, cabinets, furniture, book shelves, doors, vinyl wall coverings, cove base, plaster, dry wall, VC tile, concrete masonry units. Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative maintenance forms. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
