Purpose Statement The Maintenance Mechanic controls theefficient operation of all plant equipment by performingmechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic repair andpreventive maintenance. Please note that this is a temp to hirerole . Key Accountabilities and Outcomes Troubleshoots anddiagnoses all maintenance failures. Uses assembly drawings,P&IDs and manuals to tune equipment for operation, useselectrical (VFDs, SCRs, motor starters) and logic (PLC, SLC)principles to solve equipment problems. Uses basic plumbing, metalworking and general facilities and building maintenance knowledgeas needed. Works with operating devices such as gages, RTDs,pressure transmitters, I/Ps and vortex flow meters. Trains newAssociates and team members on required skill sets for Maintenance.
Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMPand Safety guidelines. Operates s SCADA system and completesappropriate paperwork. Performs any other related miscellaneousduties assigned by Team Leader. Will be required to work with andtrain operations Associates on basic equipment troubleshooting andassist operations as needed with production. Knowledge, Skills, andExperience Must have 3-5 years experience in food processing,working with standard troubleshooting and repair of productionequipment with highly sophisticated control systems Must have goodcommunication skills, both written and verbal Must have the abilityto train other Associates in Maintenance operations Must have thedesire and ability to operate as a member of a Self-Directed workteam Must be proficient on s SCADA system Must have generalmechanical knowledge and electrical and logic principle knowledgeHas basic plumbing, metalworking and general facilities/buildingmaintenance knowledege Has an awareness of and the ability tofollow Associate Safety guidelines Has an awareness of and theability to follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines Understands propermachine operating and adjusting procedures Must have the ability towork in and contribute to Production Improvement, AssociateInvolvement and Temporary Teams, as assigned Nesco Resource offersa comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includesa MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical,Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program)services.
