Job Description:

MINIMUM EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED requiredCertificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical ormechanical trade or related area and an associate degree in arelated area preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Four (4) yearsexperience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in knowledgeand demonstrated skills in mechanical power transmission,electrical and working knowledge of PLC/Controls andwelding/fabrication skills through job experience, related militaryexperience and/or related education required. Multiple certificatesand degrees may be assessed by manager and HR to determinerelevancy to minimum qualifications and experience

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to follow procedures as directed bywork orders or high-level technicians/management Ability tointerpret electrical or mechanical schematics, manufacturer’smanuals and engineering specifications to troubleshoot, diagnoseand repair system faults and failures or determine escalationAbility to utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) softwareto enter and retrieve prescribed data Ability to solve mechanicalor electrical problems, which may include understanding ofengineering formulas Ability to diagnose mechanical powertransmission, electrical or PLC/controls issues by troubleshootingat multiple component and system level Effective verbal and writtencommunication within own department to peers, managers, and outsidevendors to convey technical data and needs Need to collaboratesuccessfully with department, operations, vendors and support teamsthat failures or projects may require Software skills, includingMicrosoft Office suite and other web-based applications Possesstime management and organizational skills

JOB CONDITIONS

Will needto use hand tools and possibly power tools May be working in hot orcold temperatures May need to stand, walk, bend, stoop and squat

Pay:

$22.83 – $35.60 per hour
