POSITIONSUMMARY

Sugarbush Resort is seeking Experienced Lift MaintenanceTechnicians to join our Mountain Operations team. Lift MaintenanceMechanics ensure the safety and reliability of our lifts bymonitoring, maintaining and repairing lift equipment in accordancewith all applicable rules and regulations. The ideal candidateholds a competent mechanical/electrical skill set and demonstratesan ability to positively work as part of a larger team. This is afull-time year-round position with pay range between $19

• 35/hourdepending on experience.

This role also includes a sign on bonuspaid $1000 after the first 6 months of employment, and a second$1000 paid after 12 months of employment to ensure longevity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and repair all lift equipment, rangingfrom conveyors to high-speed detachable quads.
• Duties during thewinter operating season include regularly scheduled maintenance,pre-operational, mid-day, weekly, and monthly inspections as wellas responding to lift breakdowns.
• The summer season includes athorough inspection of all lift components, tower work, and gripand chair maintenance.
• Work on hydraulic systems, brakingsystems, rigging, gasoline and diesel engines up to 900 Hp, as wellas low voltage safety circuits.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High schooldiploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of mechanical orelectrical experience.
• Detachable lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work under timelines and pressure.
• Must be ableand willing to work independently as well as part of a larger team
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is a must.
• Thisjob requires the ability to climb and work at substantial heightsand in all kinds of weather.
• Must be able to lift and carry loadsup to 100 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license necessary.
• Requiresworking on weekends and holidays.
• Must recognize and adhere tosafety concerns and established protocol.
