⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Installation & Maintenance Technician (New Haven) compensation: $22-25 employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Skilled Commercial Carpenter We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to maintaining our facilities. If you have a strong background in general repairs, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply! Responsibilities You’ll begin by working alongside our lead installers, focusing on the installation of essential equipment. This will involve using basic hand and power tools effectively and safely. Reading and understanding basic plans and schematics to ensure accurate installations. As you gain experience and proficiency, you’ll eventually transition to our service team, where you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of this equipment. What We’re Looking For 1-2 years of mechanical experience in a skilled laboring role. This could include backgrounds in plumbing, welding, HVAC, or similar trades. The ability to effectively use basic hand and power tools. A solid understanding of how to read and interpret basic plans and schematics.
