Description:
Responsible for completing maintenance requests and repairs to upkeep the Mystic Seaport Museum. This position Duties of the General Maintainer shall include: Perform routine maintenance and general carpentry on buildings. Performs interior and exterior painting Use power tools and other equipment for building and grounds maintenance Perform various groundskeeping maintenance Perform set-up and breakdown services for special events. Such services may include delivery and erection of tents; and delivery and set-up of tables and chairs Provide manual labor support to other Facilities Management as assigned. Winter Operations support during snow removal Trash collection Gutter cleaning
Requirements:
Qualifications Possess a valid driver’s license Be capable of lifting 75 pounds Be able to perform work from a ladder Must be able to work outside in inclement weather both cold and hot Skills using power tools and equipment desired
