Essential Job Summary:
: Our Mechanics perform inspection,diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical,hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles andequipment, including diesel heavy trucks and engines. Utilizingdiagnostic software, the Mechanic is responsible for interpretingfailure modes and initiate or assign necessary repairs. At times,the Mechanic may be on call, and required to assist with emergencybreakdowns.
Essential Job Functions:
To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentialduty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.: Knowledgein welding and fabrication, electrical high voltage 480V,hydraulics pumps and motors, able to read electrical and hydraulicschematics Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legallyeligible to work in the United States. A valid driver’s license isrequired. CDL preferred. Experience working on heavy duty dieselequipment OR training from a recognized trade school is required.
Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse withcolleagues, drivers and dispatch, and be able to make legibleentries on reports and records. Must be able to meet the physicaland safety requirements of the position. Must be able to provideown tools
Requirements and Qualifications:
: 2 years experienceworking as a heavy duty Diesel Mechanic Experience withtroubleshooting/repairing DPF systems diagnostic software such asPremium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, CAT,Peterbilt, and Paccar. Yellow Iron experience and/or experience asa Mechanic or Technician for a refuge company is a plus. Workingknowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards and regulations.

USD $25.00/Hr.
