Summary We are seeking a Weekend Facilities Maintenance person to join our dedicated team at Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western CT. In this role, you will ensure the safety and functionality of our facilities, contributing to the comfort and well-being of our patients during their sacred life transitions. Responsibilities Respond promptly to weekend maintenance requests from staff to ensure a safe environment for patients. Perform as needed repairs on facility systems that come up on the weekends. Conduct regular weekend inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Keep Facilities Manager informed when specific maintenance requests are beyond the scope of weekend hours. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills are needed. Effective communication skills in English for collaboration with team members. Facilities maintenance experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, nursing home, etc) is preferred.
