Description:
Swampland Handyman is growing fast and looking to hire a reliable, hard-working Handyman or General Laborer to join our team. We handle a wide range of home repairs, maintenance, and light renovation work across Gainesville and surrounding areas. If you’re good with your hands, take pride in your work, and show up on time ready to work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Perform general handyman tasks such as drywall repair, painting, flooring, basic carpentry, appliance hookups, and light plumbing/electrical (no license required). Keep work areas clean and safe. Work independently or with a small team on job sites. Follow instructions, communicate clearly, and complete jobs with attention to detail. Represent the company professionally at all times.
Requirements:
Experience in general home repair or construction preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet. Strong work ethic, honesty, and reliability are non-negotiable. Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
