Our Class A Apartment Community is seeking a professional Maintenance Technician in Melbourne, FL. We are a new property with a superior management support team. A Maintenance Technicians dream job! Job Responsibilities includes but not limited to repairing and maintaining the interior and exterior of the apartment buildings while following company standards for quality, cleanliness, tenant satisfaction, and safety and security. This position is an “ON CALL” position and applicant must live within 20 miles of this position.

• Must have a minimum 3 to 5 years plus experience in an Apartment Maintenance Technician position.
• HVAC certified
• CPO preferred
• Must follow our companies operating processes and procedures
• Perform repairs and follow procedures for make-ready units on time.
• Communicates all necessary maintenance related issues to the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis
• Approaches daily responsibilities with a positive attitude
• Maintains communication with all Team members and management regarding the completion of daily services and any additional assistance required to carry out duties and responsibilities
• Treats all residents with courtesy, responds to residents needs in a timely manner, documents requests when needed and communicates with supervisor on all issues.
• Understands the importance of brand standards and has mindset to exceed expectations
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with coworkers at all times.
• Team player mentality
• Lift up to 75 lbs., bending, stretching
• Applicant must have a valid drivers license and vehicle able to purchase, haul, and track inventory of materials .
• The ideal candidate must have great organizational skills, be able to communicate well with others, be a self starter, a team player, and readily available for any situation at any given time i.e. flood, fire, down ac, hurricane, power outage, plumbing emergency , water heater, etc.
• Must have professional working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, drywall, and make ready experience.
• Must agree that this is an ON CALL position and have a flexible schedule
