Primary Accountabilities Preventive Maintenance:
Inspects equipment and facilities for proper operation and working condition as indicated on Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures. Completes assigned PMs by their due date. Must be able to interact with Patients, Visitors, Doctors, and Health First Associates in a professional and respectful manner. Must be able to direct individuals to various locations throughout the facilities, and able to convey work that will need to be completed or has been completed.
TMA/Kronos Worked Hours:
Individual must document worked hours in the TMA computerized work order system (or provides worked hour’s information to Data Entry Clerk to document in TMA). Documentation must be completed with 24 hours of work completion. Maintains an individual data entry score equal to actual payroll hours worked. It is recommended to make at least half of the activities measurable. For each measurable accountability, include what measure constitutes each rating level. Work Experience Qualifications Trade School graduate or High School/GED with a minimum of two to three years on the job training. Must have a minimum of three years experience in comparable work is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must provide and maintain common hand tools needed for the execution of duties. Job specific power tools will be provided.
Basic knowledge in the following:
use of hand tools and common power tools related to maintenance, repair of mechanical devices and parts, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work skills, basic painting and drywall skills and repair to acoustical ceilings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to rapidly respond to emergency situations anywhere within the Facility using stairways, ladders to roof accesses etc. Must be physically agile and have the ability to climb, stoop, kneel or crouch to gain access to piping and equipment in need of repair. Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. May provide support for plant and building maintenance and repair on weekends, holidays, and personnel on vacations and sick leave as required. May be required to work overtime to support facility maintenance and repair. May be assigned to perform 2nd and or 3rd shift work.
MENTAL DEMANDS
Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work with limited supervision. Establishes and maintains courteous, cooperative relations when interacting with other associates, vendors, contractors, and the general public.
