Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate must have their own tools and a reliable truck to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple properties. This role requires a self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting. Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently. Install fixtures, appliances, and other property improvements as needed. Coordinate with property management staff and tenants to schedule repairs. Ensure all work meets safety and building code requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role. Own a full set of tools and a reliable truck for transportation. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
