The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with other team members. Responsibilities Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing a simple water leak Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCI’s, understanding lightbulb wattage, breakers and fuses, replacing outlets. Oversee the curb appeal of the buildings and make sure it is up to property owners standards which includes: Picking up trash around the buildings Complete clean outs of apartments/homes/condos. Finish work orders in an efficient and timely manner. Complete day to day duties with minimal supervision. Adhere to all safety laws and regulations. Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Experience in residential painting is a plus. Previous supervisory experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
