Maintenance Technician 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars 501 Haverty Court, Rockledge, FL 32955 The industrial maintenance agent performs corrective and preventive maintenance on all equipment in the plant in order to keep it in optimal operating condition. He must perform various tasks of maintenance,repair,programming and installation of production equipement comprising electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. He conducts his activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAINTENANCE OF PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND OTHER

• Except for routine maintenance tasks already assigned to operators, perform all other preventive maintenance tasks for all production equipment for the purpose of preventing machinery breakdown ;
• Document the maintenance activities of production equipment and communicate effectively to the persons concerned the conclusions of his activities ;
• Provide instructions to operators on the various adjustments to be made on machinery during production ;
• For routine maintenance,give training to operators ;
• Participate in the establishment of maintenance procedures and records as well as their maintenance ;
• Documentation and maintenance of equipment manuals, parts lists, drawings and diagrams, etc.
• Respond quickly to service calls on equipment. If necessary and with the authorization of management, he must intervene outside his normal working hours. From Monday at midnight to Friday at the end of the evening around 10 :30 p.m., he must therefore be available on call because he may be called upon to intervene to resolve an equipment failure ;
• Diagnose the causes of equipment failures and make appropriate repairs using technical drawings and diagrams ;
• If necessary, repair the various tools, templates, test benches or others;
• If necessary, carry out certain exterior or interior maintenance work on buildings (factory and office);
• If necessary, use machine tools and measuring devices to fabricate and/ or repair parts of machinery.
• It is forbidden to work with welding equipment as well as any open flame.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND SPECIAL PROJECTS

• Participate in various maintenance projects, installation of equiment, fitting out workstations and/ or any other improvement project ;
• Support process improvement by taking into account the history of targeted production equipment ;
• Bring ideas and improvements with regard to individual and collective protective equipment for machinery ;
• Collaborate in the improvement of production processes as well as the establishment of special projects ;
• Make the requested modifications to production equipement for the sake of optimization ;

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PREVENTION AND SAFETY

• In collaboration with the plant manager, production manager and foremen, ensure the maintenance of cleanliness and safety of work areas, as well as compliance with all occupational health and safety procedures.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Perform any other related task requested by his superior.

The candidate has to be able to lift charges up to 50lbs. Salary based on experience.
