SCHEDULE 8

hour shift, 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday (typical)

  • On call Weekend/After-hours availability (if needed, hours taken out of weekdays)

JOB DESCRIPTION

You do not need to be familiar with Rent Manger, we can train you on that software….it’s pretty easy to learn

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Helping in the development of a routine preventative maintenance plan
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact guests
  • Daily/Weekly inspections for overall cleanliness and safety
  • Basic Plumbing (unclogging, snaking, fixing small leaks, changing fixtures)
  • Basic Carpentry
  • Unit make ready /Check out inspections
  • Painting
  • Lifting and moving items
  • Light cleaning
  • Grounds clean up
  • Changing locks
  • Installing light fixtures
  • Complete requested repairs within 48 hours.
  • Complete repairs on the first visit, whenever possible
  • Schedule follow-up maintenance, as needed
  • Maintain a high level of craftsmanship when completing repairs
  • Inventory evaluation
  • Monitor and manage building systems such as fire alarms, boilers, water heaters
  • Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors for larger repairs or inspections.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and workspaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and health regulations.
  • Assist with landscaping upkeep, and basic groundskeeping as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • , apartment complex, or commercial building
  • Basic proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and safely.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and on-call rotations.
  • This position requires you to have your own reliable transportation (vehicle w/insurance, valid DL, basic tools)
