The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment within a manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess equipment functionality and identify issues. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical systems, including HVAC/R systems. Operate tools such as ammeters and stick welding equipment safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Adhere to safety protocols while operating scissor lifts and other equipment. Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Skills Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their applications in maintenance tasks. Experience with low voltage systems and HVAC/R maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and effectively. Knowledge of militarise practices is a plus but not mandatory.
