The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to handle various repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship. The Handy Man will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks in residential or commercial settings. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Perform minor carpentry work, such as building shelves or repairing furniture. Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed. Utilize tools effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical testing. Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after job completion. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is an advantage.
