Full Job Description Job Summary:

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with strong experience in plumbing and HVAC systems . In this role, you will help ensure the safety, functionality, and comfort of the hotel by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. You’ll be part of a team committed to maintaining a well-kept, guest-ready environment while upholding Marriott’s commitment to excellence and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel standards Assist with general maintenance duties, including electrical, carpentry, and painting as needed Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized work is required

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing and HVAC maintenance (hotel or commercial experience preferred) Strong working knowledge of plumbing codes and HVAC systems Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and general building systems a plus Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification(s) preferred
