This role operates under general supervision and is responsible for the setup, routine troubleshooting, and repair of all packaging equipment and systems. The Maintenance technician ensures optimal line performance through changeovers, mechanical setup, and on-the-spot problem-solving in alignment with the packaging schedule. Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical setup, changeovers, and adjustments of packaging equipment according to production schedules. Troubleshoot and repair packaging and processing machinery, including mechanical control systems. Monitor packaging lines during production runs, ensuring efficient operation and proactively addressing issues. Support preventive maintenance efforts alongside engineering technicians. Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance and production work areas. Report major or unresolved downtime issues to the Packaging Section Leader. Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies and procedures. Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental efficiency and output goals. Comply with all regulatory standards including FDA and cGMP guidelines.
