Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a high-rise, 16-story condominium building with 165 residential units. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, and general repairs of the building’s systems and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner. Respond to building emergencies and participate in on-call rotation as needed. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, and minor adjustments. Maintain common areas (lobby, hallways, amenities, parking garage, etc.) in clean and operational condition. Assist with property inspections and vendor coordination for specialized repairs or services. Ensure tools, inventory, and maintenance supplies are well-stocked and properly stored. Follow all safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support tasks such as pressure washing, and exterior upkeep.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred. 2+ years of maintenance or building operations experience (residential or commercial). Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems and perform minor carpentry/painting tasks. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions. Must pass background check and provide work references.
Preferred Skills:
