Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Job Description
- Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. Additionally, execute preventive/predictive maintenance, resolve safety concerns, and maintain an industrial laundry facility.
- Responsibilities
- + Enhance the performance of all production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Identify mechanical and electrical issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions. + Perform regular maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, and production machines. + Conduct daily and weekly safety checks, report unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations. + Carry out other assigned tasks, ensuring high standards in maintenance and safety.
- Essential Skills
- + High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of two years of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment. + Experience with lock out/tag out procedures. + Electromechanical experience, PLC is a good indicator of both abilities, but any other kind of electrical experience is acceptable. + 3-5 years of electromechanical experience. + Ability to stand and/or walk around for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift. + Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boilers, pumps, valves, electrical maintenance, pneumatic, hydraulic systems. + 3-5 years experience in building and machine maintenance preferred. + 3 years or more experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + A valid forklift certification or experience is preferred. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. + Experience with computer-based training and work orders. + Strong verbal communication skills. + Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficiency. + Critical thinking and problem analysis skills.

10pm-6am Monday-Friday. Training for 1-2 months from 5pm-2am. The environment is extremely fast-paced, featuring automated systems with computer-based training and work orders.
