Compensation:

$21.50 per hour Looking for a Painter/Handyman to join our clients team in Ft.

Lauderdale, FL! This exciting opportunity will be located at aclient site and will follow a Monday-Friday schedule. The Handymanmust be able to perform the repair, maintenance, restoration, andreplacement of various component of the physical structure ofbuildings.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare, prime and paint building interiorand exterior surfaces. Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors,controllers. Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals,lavatories, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, waterheaters, piping, and sump pumps. Provide all other building maintenance, repair, and restorativeprocedures as directed. Perform general Handyman tasks to maintain buildings. Maintain and repair single phase electrical breakers, switches,receptacles, junction boxes, conduit, lights, and ballasts. Patch and paint office, outside and controlled workenvironments. Level 2 or above painter with experience in Epoxy paint Experiencein controlled working environments a plus. Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair ofbuilding and equipment. General office maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays,repair office furniture systems Minor plumbing repairs. Completes special tasks that include painting, locksmith work,tenant services requests, special cleaning, and general maintenanceas assigned. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials asrequested. Assists other operational staff members in repair and maintenanceof building equipment. Comply with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal ofhazardous materials Maintains a clean and safe workenvironment. Maintain records for work completed in a neat and organizedmanner. Any and all other duties/tasks assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years related experienc Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well inboth oral and written reports Able to work in a customer service environment interacting with theclient Able to stay on task and work independently Only candidates available and ready to work directly as NewJourney/Genesis10 employees will be considered for thisposition.
