The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in pool maintenance and repair. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools. Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders for proper operation. Conduct repairs on pool equipment as needed, utilizing hand tools and power tools. Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool. Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, repairs needed, and any additional services offered. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks. Troubleshoot issues related to pool systems and recommend solutions. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for pool maintenance. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks. Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of pool maintenance practices including cleaning techniques and chemical balancing. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while servicing multiple locations. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
