Maintenance Technician Spruce Creek Preserve HOA Dunnellon, FL 34432 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems within our facility. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Review and complete work orders assigned by the Community Association Manager. Maintain inspection records and other maintenance reports as directed. Routinely inspection the community and informs the Community Association Manager of any issues. Utilizes and maintains equipment in a proper, save and effective manner. Keeps tools and other equipment locked and secure to prevent unauthorized use or theft. Performs various maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical repairs, mechanical repairs and other tasks as assigned. Performs pressure washing of Community Center areas including curbing, sidewalks and porch areas. Regularly inspects AC drip pans for proper draining. Performs filter changes as directed. Maintains recreational areas which include the tennis courts, bocce call court etc. Completes set-up of ballroom and other rooms prior to Community events, activities or meetings. Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing duties in compliance with OSHA and the State of Florida guidelines. Performs custodial duties as directed. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Able to lift 50 pounds following appropriate safety procedures. Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time. Ability to crawl in small, tight spaces. Ability to work in different weather conditions (hot, cold, wind, rain). Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 12′ to 16′). Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends based on the project requirements. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
