Philips Highway, Jacksonville, FL 32216 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of properties and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Maintains and repairs include, but are not limited to: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, flooring, cleaning, appliances, fencing/gates, and more. Responsible for completing all service requests / work orders at the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager as required in timely manner. Complete service requests and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion. Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so units are ready to lease Qualifications Ability to complete a wide array of repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have a valid driver’s license High School diploma, or GED equivalency, and minimum of 1-2 years direct experience Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems nowledge in computers/emails to fulfill daily work orders and schedule AppFolio property management software is a plus HVAC certified is a plus Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you can contribute your expertise while enjoying a dynamic work environment.
